Amazon India Launches India’s First AI Device Store on Amazon.in

    By TNRApril 17, 2026

Amazon India has introduced a dedicated AI storefront featuring smartphones, laptops, wearables, televisions, and smart home devices with built-in AI capabilities.

Amazon India has launched what it describes as India’s first dedicated AI device storefront on Amazon.in, as demand for consumer electronics powered by artificial intelligence continues to grow across the country.

The new AI Store brings together AI-enabled products across categories including smartphones, laptops, televisions, tablets, smartwatches, smart glasses, home appliances, cameras, and audio devices.

The launch reflects increasing adoption of AI-powered consumer electronics in India, where device manufacturers and digital commerce platforms are positioning artificial intelligence as a key differentiator in personal technology products.

According to Amazon, the platform is designed to simplify the buying experience by explaining how AI features work in practical use cases rather than relying on technical specifications alone.

Zeba Khan said the initiative aims to help consumers better understand evolving AI-powered technologies.

“At Amazon.in, our role goes beyond just offering the widest selection. It’s about helping customers navigate a rapidly evolving technology landscape with clarity, so they can make confident decisions without having to decode technical specifications,” Khan said.

“The AI Store does exactly that by bringing together thousands of intelligent devices in one destination, with clear explanations of what each device’s AI can do for you,” she added.

The storefront includes devices from major global consumer technology brands including Samsung, OnePlus, HP, Lenovo, LG Electronics, Haier, Bosch, Apple, and Meta.

Featured products include the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, OnePlus Nord 6, HP OmniBook Ultra, Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x, Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses, and Apple Watch Series 11.

The company said many of the devices use AI capabilities such as neural processing units, adaptive performance tuning, real-time language translation, AI-powered health coaching, automated image enhancement, intelligent cooling systems, and energy optimisation technologies.

Amazon also highlighted AI-powered shopping tools integrated into its platform, including its Rufus conversational shopping assistant, AI-powered visual search, price tracking features, and review summarisation capabilities.

India’s consumer AI device market has expanded rapidly as smartphone makers, PC manufacturers, and electronics brands increasingly integrate on-device AI capabilities into mainstream products.

The launch also reflects growing competition among e-commerce platforms and electronics brands to position AI-enabled products as part of the next wave of consumer technology adoption in India.

As AI adoption expands beyond enterprise applications into personal devices and home technology, retailers are increasingly focusing on simplifying AI product discovery and consumer education.
